The article focuses on the analysis of Range problems related to ensuring the preservation, functioning and development of the national scientific heritage objects. The relevance of the research lies in the fact that such research infrastructures are unique and the only ones to which a systematic approach from the state is applied.Unlike European legislation, Ukrainian legislation provides for various forms of existence and functioning of research infrastructures.Such variety of forms is caused by the need to provide financial support of infrastructures by the state, as well as the goals of the RI activities.Today only national scientific heritage objects have a clear systematization and full database.

This is primarily caused by the legislative obligation to issue such status only by an executive act of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In addition, according to regulation provisions the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is responsible for the relevant database functioning. The database created in accordance with legislation, State Register of National scientific heritage objects is maintained by the central body of executive power, ensures the implementation of state policy in the field of scientific, scientific, and technical activities (the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine). The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine makes a decision to grant a specific status for such objects and to deprive it of this status according to the request of the central executive body, which ensures the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of scientific, scientific and technical activities. However, despite this, there are problems with both legislative support and funding for the activities of such infrastructures.

Insufficient funding can lead to decrease in the quality of scientific research and the loss of valuable scientific objects. In addition, there are a number of other problems, as mentioned in the article: staffing issues, which have become particularly acute after the emigration of a significant number Condensors of scientists abroad, insufficient access to data, and damage caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation.
